New Beginnings

This has been a monumental week at our house. Charlie has been looking for a new job for the past year and a friend (Michelle Cosby), told us about looking on Craig's List for work. The 1st night Charlie looked on there he came across an add seeking a Foreman for a paint company in Warsaw, IN. He sent his resume that evening and the next day he had an email from the man. They talked on the phone and discovered that they both grew up 7 miles apart in Nebraska!!! God's hand seems to be so clearly orchestrating things as the man is also a believer. As conversations continued for the next couple of days, interest grew on both sides and Charlie loaded me, Kennedi, and Kaylee up on Friday for a trip to meet this man. Charlie spent 3 hours interviewing with him, taking a test, and then going to a job site to meet an employee of his. Did I mention our excitement when the owner pulled up in his van with 6 crosses painted on it???Today, Saturday, the job was offered to Charlie. He is leaning toward accepting it but it will require that we relocate to the Warsaw area. We will remain in prayer this weekend as the owner has asked for Charlie's response by the end of the weekend. On our way home last night we saw a beautiful rainbow which we found very timely. Charlie asked me to get a picture of it. We embrace every rainbow we see but found this one especially comforting.
